What's a typical day as an Associate Event Planner?

You'll support the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events from concept through completion—helping deliver engaging, high-quality experiences.

You'll be:

  • Assisting in planning and executing corporate events end-to-end

  • Supporting project management activities, including timelines, budgets, vendors, and logistics

  • Developing and managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and reconciling costs

  • Creating and updating event materials, presentations, and reports using PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure smooth execution

  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues in real time during event planning and on-site execution

  • Supervising events on-site to ensure brand standards and objectives are met

  • Supporting post-event reporting, feedback collection, and continuous improvement efforts

  • Traveling to events on a limited basis as required

  • Performing additional duties as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience (or internships) in event planning, project management, or a related field

  • Strong interest in brands, storytelling, and experiential marketing

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Proven problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities

  • Willingness and ability to supervise events on-site

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Experience with budget development, management, and reconciliation

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Contract Length: 6 months (Temp to Perm or Temp while interviewing for Permanent)

  • Pay Rate: $29.46/hr
