We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Associate Material Coordinator to join our team in Juncos, PR starting at $15.02ph. Under direct supervision, you will be responsible for performing hands-on operations related to receiving, storing, dispensing, transferring, and shipping materials in a primarily cGMP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, store, dispense, deliver, transfer, reconcile, cycle count, or ship materials according to cGMP procedures and regulations, utilizing multiple systems and/or sites.
- Proficiently use inventory systems to resolve basic issues within Amgen's ERP system.
- Utilize multiple quality, operations, and logistical software applications with read/write access.
- Review and verify cGMP transactions and use Power Industrial Vehicles (PIV) to move warehouse materials.
- Safely operate trucks (flatbed or panel) to transport warehouse materials, hazardous materials, or general receiving goods, adhering to Department of Transportation regulations.
- Receive, deliver, store, transfer, or ship hazardous materials in compliance with federal guidelines.
- Follow OSHA, DOT, and Amgen policies and regulations, along with other required standards.
- Identify and report operational issues and process improvement opportunities to leadership.
- Participate in group/department specific projects and maintain compliant training records.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, preparing for regulatory inspections and audits.
- Perform other assigned functions as needed.
Education/Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
Specific Software Requirements:
- Proficient in using inventory systems and multiple quality, operations, and logistical software applications.
Shift Information:
- Non-standard shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Positions may require first, second, or third shifts.
- Currently, the position is 8 hours, but there is potential for a shift to 12 hours, with staff rotating every four months.

- Proficient in operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and specialized cryogenic equipment.

- Intermediate mathematical skills for inventory management and transactions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and adhere to cGMP standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interact constructively with peers and clients.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic customer service skills.

The physical demands of this position include:
- Standing, walking, or moving around the office and work sites.
- Climbing, crawling, crouching, or working in non-sitting positions.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling heavy objects using appropriate industrial equipment.
- Visual and mental concentration on specialized equipment and instruments.
- Exposure to temperature extremes (cold/hot rooms), wetness, fumes, vibrations, dust, noise, and odors, requiring protective equipment and compliance with strict work guidelines.
