3rd Shift: Monday – Friday
11:00 PM – 7:20 AM
40 hours per week | 8 hours per day

Department / Team Description

This department focuses on running high-speed bottling lines and performing product changeovers. Each shift operates within assigned line teams. Changeovers between products include both mechanical adjustments and equipment cleaning to maintain quality and compliance standards.

What's a typical day as a 3rd Shift – Associate Technician? You will:
  • Operate in a line team environment to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical products on time and in the correct quantities.

  • Train and qualify in required and preferred skill areas within a reasonable timeframe.

  • Comply with all workplace standards and safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), OSHA requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company guidelines.

  • Perform equipment setup and changeover activities while working to reduce setup times safely.

  • Establish and adjust operating parameters to maximize production while meeting product specifications.

  • Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as needed.

  • Set up and operate packaging line equipment, including: bottle in-feed systems, unscramblers, fillers, cappers, labelers, vision systems, weighing systems, bar coding systems, sealers, cartoners, case packers, palletizers, and conveyors.

  • Troubleshoot equipment stoppages, jams, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Servo Drive systems (as trained).

  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks (as trained).

  • Inspect packaging components and drug products to ensure compliance with specifications and initiate corrective actions when necessary.

  • Palletize finished and unfinished goods and operate motorized/non-motorized material handling equipment.

  • Complete and maintain production documentation using systems such as SAP, MES, and Electronic Batch Records (EBRs).

  • Support team development, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Meet production schedules and review/approve team work output using validated methods.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned and trained.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED (required).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Willingness to work overtime based on production demands.

  • Flexibility to work different shifts to support business and training needs.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow workplace documentation such as SOPs, operator manuals, and work instructions.

  • Solid math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and metric system).

  • Ability to meet occupational and physical requirements of the Associate Technician role.
