Position: Maintenance Automation Technician
Location: Fenton Facility
Shift:  2nd or 3rd - TBD What You'll Do:

  • Corrective Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair assembly/machining and test equipment, working with electronics, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, software, hardware, and robotics systems.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Keep production equipment in top shape with cleaning, retooling, oil changing, calibrating, aligning, etc.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in engineering studies to enhance product throughput, ergonomics, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
What We're Looking For: Required:
  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, OR Associates Degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in mechanical or electrical experience.
  • Skills:
    • Manual dexterity
    • Proficiency with hand and power tools, shop equipment (lathe, mill, grinder, etc.)
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to read/understand technical material
    • Technical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
    • Analytical skills
    • Computer and software literacy
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of: PLC/SRC/RS LOGIX, Ladder Logic, robotic/vision systems
  • Experience in: Process improvement, corrective and preventive maintenance
  • Team-Based Management: Prior experience is a plus!
