Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Job Description:
As an Aviation Technician, you will be responsible for performing inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance on aircraft engines, systems, and components. Your expertise will help ensure the safety and efficiency of our fleet, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft engines, systems, and components, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and structural systems.
- Diagnose issues and implement effective repair solutions.
- Perform preventive maintenance such as lubrication, cleaning, adjustments, and part replacements.
- Work collaboratively with a team of mechanics, technicians, and engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technical manuals to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Participate in professional development and safety training programs to stay current with industry standards and technologies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the team.
- Assist with shipping and receiving, as well as inventory management, as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
- A&P Certification (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited aviation maintenance technician program required.
- At least 3 years of experience as an aviation technician (military or civilian), with proven experience in aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Familiarity with a variety of aircraft systems, including avionics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and powerplant systems.
- Proficient in reading and following technical manuals, procedures, and using electronic maintenance tracking programs.
- Ability to work on-site full-time and participate in required business meetings.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hangar conditions, which may include varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with the ability to travel as required.
