What's a typical day as an Avionics Installer I? You'll be:

• Assisting with the installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components

• Supporting avionics and electrical system installations per blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings

• Performing component terminations and wire harness fabrication

• Using test equipment such as multimeters to support system checks

• Completing assigned tasks within allotted timeframes

• Maintaining accurate logs, records, and documentation

• Complying with FOD, tool control, 5S, and safety programs

• Properly caring for and maintaining shop tools and equipment

• Supporting team members and supervisors to meet production goals

• Performing other duties as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

• High School Diploma or GED

• General knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications

• Ability to use a multimeter

• Entry-level aviation or electrical background

• Six (6) months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience (preferred)

• Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly or completion of a Gulfstream-sponsored youth apprenticeship program (preferred)

• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Basic computer skills and general software knowledge

• Location: Savannah, GA 31408

• Employment Type: 48-month contract (possibility of absorption)

• Shift: First shift, 4:30 AM – 3:10 PM

• Pay Rate: $25.66/hr
