General Description:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Bank Teller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while performing a variety of banking transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns or issues.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the end of each day.
- Promote bank products and services, assisting customers with account inquiries and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
- Assist in identifying and reporting any suspicious activity or potential fraud.
- Collaborate with team members to meet branch goals and improve customer service levels.
- Perform administrative duties as required, including filing, data entry, and maintaining customer records.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in finance or business preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service or banking role is a plus.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Proficient in basic computer applications and banking software.
- Must be able to pass a background check and comply with all regulatory requirements.
