Benefits Coordinator (Temporary Contract – On-Site)
Temporary | Full-time | On-site
$35-$40 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Benefits Coordinator for a temporary, on-site role supporting day-to-day benefits administration. This position plays a key role in managing employee benefits inquiries, 401(k) coordination, wellness initiatives, and leave of absence processes. The ideal candidate has experience with Workday and a strong customer service mindset.
Responsibilities:

Respond to employee and HR inquiries regarding health plans, enrollments, and changes.

Coordinate 401(k) processes with payroll and Fidelity, including contributions and annual true-up.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate benefits communications.

Track monthly benefits metrics and reconcile benefits billing across vendors and divisions.

Present benefits information during New Hire Orientation sessions.

Support annual Open Enrollment, including systems configuration and employee presentations.

Guide employees through leave of absence procedures, including documentation, benefit continuation, and premium collection.
Qualifications:

Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration or HR support.

Experience with Workday HCM required.

Knowledge of ADA, FMLA, and leave of absence procedures.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Occasional walking, standing, talking, and hearing.
