Beverage Technician
Location: Erlanger KENTUCKY USA 41018-1270 
Schedule: Day Shift (Monday–Friday) - 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour day with 30-minute lunch)
Pay: $22/hour
Duration: 12-month
Work Setup: Onsite

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and interpret analytical testing. 
  • Batch formulas and make minor modifications to bases, flavors, and colors; adjust formulas in Wildware. 
  • Conduct basic math conversions (ratios, scaling, percentages). 
  • Follow ISO procedures and laboratory standards daily. 
  • Set up sensory evaluations (triangle tastings) and assist with stability testing under supervision. 
  • Use AS400 and LEAD systems to research data and generate shipments. 
  • Compile and generate data for demo sheets and documentation. 
  • Screen and select flavor options for product development. 

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (or higher) with 1–3 years of experience 
  • (Food Science or Chemistry background preferred) 
  • Basic math skills: ratio scaling, fractions, proportions, percentages 
  • Foundational scientific knowledge: chemistry concepts, terminology, basic physiology 
  • Computer proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, and general data handling 
  • Analytical instrumentation experience: 
    • pH meters 
    • Brix measurement 
    • Spectrophotometers 
    • Titratable Acidity (TA) 
  • Ability to calibrate, operate, and report results from lab equipment 
  • Problem-solving and root-cause analysis capability
