Temp Team Member Freight Auditing Role and Functions
We are currently seeking a Temp Team Member to join our Logistics & Compliance department at BIC Corp. The primary function of this role is to perform detailed audits of freight bills and invoices received from freight forwarders for various modes of transportation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with terms and conditions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and validating transportation charges, rates, and related information against contractual agreements and rate cards.
  • Investigating and reporting discrepancies in freight forwarders' invoices and billing errors to the Sr. Manager and Manager.
  • Utilizing JD Edwards to extract data for auditing purposes.
  • Recording billing errors trends and maintaining an error tracker for each freight forwarder.
  • Coding and approving freight forwarders' invoicing in the TAP system for payment processing.
  • Monitoring and ensuring timely receipt of carrier documentation and invoices.
  • Performing other duties as required and assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college.
  • Supply Chain experience is preferred.
  • Experience with JD Edwards is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is required.
Pay rate and work schedule:
$25-$27 depending on experience
Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
This is a 3-month assignment
