Now Hiring: Bookkeeper
 $25-$32/Hr
Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
Location: Holyoke, MA (In-office with potential for hybrid schedule)
Position: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
We are seeking a Bookkeeper/Accounting Professional to join our team in Holyoke, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, QuickBooks Online, and Excel. This role is critical to supporting our current employee who is managing both accounting and bookkeeping duties, and we are looking to hire an additional team member to split the workload.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:

  • Record daily customer activity and manage Accounts Receivable.
  • Process monthly customer statements and collections.
  • Vendor and Accounts Payable management.
  • Daily bank deposits and cash flow management.
  • Prepare monthly bank and account reconciliations.
  • Reconcile Due to/from accounts for reporting companies.
  • Monthly and ad-hoc financial report preparation.
  • Assist in annual budgeting and year-end financial preparations for tax reporting.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the outside CPA/Accounting firm.
Human Resources:
  • Process payroll.
  • Collaborate with the office manager on employee benefits.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3-5 years in accounting and financial reporting.
  • Software Skills: Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online, MS Excel, and MS Office Software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
