Job Title: Machine Operator (Brake Press & CNC Bandsaw)
Work Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation:
$18-22 per hour, commensurate with experience and skill level.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to operate machinery in our production facility. This position primarily involves operating an ACCUR Press 100 Ton brake press (50% of the role), with additional responsibilities supporting CNC bandsaw operations, and sub-assembly/final assembly. Training is provided for machine setup.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate brake press for fabrication projects.
  • Handle CNC Bandsaw (Continental Series DC280NC DoALL) to assist with material cutting and processing.
  • Perform sub-assembly and light assembly of machinery; cross trained to be proficient in support assembly functions when needed.
  • Support other shop tasks as required.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Trained in Lock-out/tag-out
  • Assist in general production and shop duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Experience operating a brake press, ideally in a machine shop environment.
  • Previous exposure to assembly or sub-assembly work is beneficial.
  • Ability and willingness to cross-train on various machinery.
  • CNC Bandsaw/ machine operation experience is a plus, training is available.
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and punctual.
  • Able to lift components and stand for extended periods.
