Location: Essington, PA
Schedule: 1st Shift (7am–3pm) or 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) based on experience level. Weekend rotation required (based on demand)

We are seeking a dedicated Chemist / Laboratory Analyst to join our laboratory team. Working under the guidance of the Laboratory Manager, you will perform analytical testing, sample management, and handle lab operations to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective service. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in chemistry, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and expertise in oil, gas, and chemical testing methods. We value candidates from the broader chemical or pharmaceutical industries who can demonstrate the necessary skills.
Responsibilities- Receive, examine, and record inbound samples for testing.
- Deliver test samples to the staging area and maintain sample integrity.
- Monitor laboratory supplies and communicate needs to the Laboratory Manager.
- Prepare samples and quality control specimens; standardize reagents and calibrate equipment.
- Perform testing using specified methodologies; review and record results against standards.
- Issue analyses to clients as delegated and enter results into LIMS and appropriate records.
- Maintain documentation, equipment, and workspaces in an orderly, safe condition.
- Ensure traceability and validity of all laboratory data in logs, charts, and reports.
- Assist with training of newer staff as proficiency and experience increase.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality management protocols, and ethical guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field mandatory.
- 3–5 years industry laboratory experience preferred.
- Experience with oil, gas, or chemical industry testing desired
- Candidates with pharmaceutical lab experience will be considered based on experience
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation and LIMS systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Mathematical proficiency and analytical task competency.
- Safety-oriented and able to follow strict protocols and procedures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience handling chemical and petroleum products.
- Ability to thrive under job pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Effective interpersonal skills for working in a diverse team setting.
