Position: Client Account Coordinator – Customer Service Representative (Temporary, Full-Time)

Location: Onsite –Sacramento, CA
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $22.00 – $23.50/hour, depending on experience
  About the Role We are seeking a seasoned Customer Service Representative to join our team as a Client Account Coordinator. In this fast-paced, dynamic role, you will help support the needs of patients and healthcare providers, ensuring a seamless process for fulfilling prescriptions for wheelchairs and related equipment. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary point of contact for incoming and outgoing phone calls with patients, healthcare providers, and partner institutions
  • Take, verify, and process wheelchair orders—inputting information accurately into the system
  • Verify insurance coverage, co-pays, and deductibles; clearly communicate this information to patients and the medical community
  • Schedule fittings and training sessions for patients regarding wheelchair use
  • Maintain high levels of organization to keep orders and processes moving smoothly
  • Handle a high volume of faxes; process incoming and outgoing orders as needed
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, remaining calm and professional, especially when assisting individuals in high-need or crisis situations
Qualifications
  • Prior customer service experience in an office setting required; healthcare or medical office experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong phone and computer skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy under pressure
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are not required, but are a strong plus
