Clinical Simulations Desk Administrative Assistant
Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group Kelly OCG, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Clinical Simulations Desk Administrative Assistant for a long-term engagement at one of our Global medical device clients in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This role is a part-time position.

Monday through Friday: 1st shift, 24hrs/week
Compensation is $20-24/hr


Responsibilities:

  1. Know and follow policies and procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibility.
  2. Complete training in area of responsibility within allowed time-period.
  3. Training is required for changes in existing policies and procedures, for new assignments and for implementation of new policies and procedures.
  4. Complete required periodic re-training in areas such as safety and environmental compliance.
  5. Follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions within work area.
  6. Promote safety to all associates that enter work area.
  7. Follow Health Care Compliance guidelines as well as follow operating room training and safety standards Bloodborne pathogens training, etc .
  8. Adhere to current safety and lab procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment up to company standards
  9. Participation in planning meetings and provide input for all pre-planning meetings
  10. Adhere to current safety and lab procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment up to company standards
  11. Receiving and directing visitors
  12. Ensure all employees and visitors sign lab documents prior to entering the lab space
  13. Distribute assigned dosimeter to lab participants and conform that number match on the waiver
  14. Collect all dosimeters at the end of the event daily and display for easy distribution the following event if needed
  15. Make necessary copies of lab documents for program managers
  16. Assist lab staff with laboratory equipment and disposables; restock personal protection equipment lab disposables, review serial numbers, proper laser marks, count open sterile packaging
  17. Assure paperwork and procurement of laboratory supplies for all practical labs are maintained to level requirements.
  18. Assist with end of day lab clean up: wipe lights and tables, seal boxes, move carts and tables if needed to help rearrange the lab.
  19. All signatures on waivers/rosters per GDP
  20. Stock scrubs in the locker rooms before each event
  21. Collect scrubs from the laundry hampers after each event
  22. A quick tidying up of the caf
  23. Assist attendee s gown up
  24. Provide other administrative support to a team as needed
     
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  1. Must be fluent in Spanish
  2. A college degree is preferred
  3. Comfortable working in a medical lab setting environment with cadaveric tissue and harvested animal tissue, lifting and transporting heavy equipment
  4. Experience coordinating multiple events at once while maintaining a high degree of professionalism
  5. Strong communication skills Proven flexible attitude and the ability to function as a member of a team Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Agile, and Outlook
  6. Proven management of last-minute crises involving arrangements and budget to be able to maintain budgeted Meeting Costs.
  7. Use a telephone system to receive and transfer calls; shows patience and courtesy when dealing with people.
  8. Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Additional Education/Experience:
    • Ability to focus on priorities/sense of urgency
    • Able to speak and write clearly and accurately with good communication skills
    • Possess a self-starting personality
    • Demonstrate excellent organization
