Powder Coat Line Supervisor
Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Powder Coat Line Supervisor to join our team. As a Powder Coat Line Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the powder coating process, troubleshooting any application issues, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the finishing line. You will work closely with company management, equipment manufacturers, and vendor representatives to optimize performance and maintain high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of powder coating processes.

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Full-time - 1st and 3rd shift 
- Pay rate: 70k- 80k 


- Location: Newport News, VA

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the powder coating process and ensure smooth operations of the finishing line
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to powder coating application
- Collaborate with company management, equipment manufacturers, and vendor representatives to optimize equipment performance and process efficiency
- Follow and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for the team
- Maintain production records and ensure accurate documentation
- Monitor and adjust pretreatment chemical levels
- Monitor and correct dry-off and curing oven temperatures
- Demonstrate proficiency in conveyor system operation
- Utilize efficient parts hanging techniques
- Apply proper powder spraying techniques

Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong supervisory and people skills
- Ability to troubleshoot problems with powder coating application
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in keeping production records
- Working knowledge of conveyor systems, pretreatment chemical wash systems, and dry-off and curing oven operation
- Familiarity with gas with IR technology
- Knowledge of efficient parts hanging techniques and proper powder spraying techniques
