Description

Job Title: Commercial Property Manager
Location: Must be based in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Maine
Salary: $80,000 – $90,000/year (may be flexible based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time, direct hire, permanent
Travel: 2–3 days per week across MA, NH, and ME

About the Role:
We're seeking a proactive and experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of 15–20 commercial real estate assets (primarily retail) across New England. This is a dynamic role focused on tenant and vendor management, building operations, financial performance, and maintenance coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of assigned commercial properties

  • Oversee tenant communications, vendor coordination, and contract compliance

  • Handle property maintenance, service requests, and emergency responses

  • Coordinate competitive bidding and vendor selection through RFPs

  • Ensure lease compliance, rent collection, and assign late fees when necessary

  • Support budgeting, financial reporting, and CAM reconciliations

  • Conduct property inspections and ensure standards are consistently met

  • Partner with accounting and asset management teams on performance goals

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of commercial property management experience

  • Strong knowledge of building systems and property operations

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel (advanced), ShareFile, and Yardi

  • Familiarity with CAM reconciliations, budgets, and financial reports

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for regular regional travel

  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Comfortable being on call occasionally for after-hours emergencies
