Commissioning Manager | Nuclear Medical Facility | Janesville, WI

Ready to build something no one else has?

We're hiring a Commissioning Manager to lead the startup of a brand new NRC-regulated medical isotope production facility, a one-of-a-kind site helping revolutionize cancer and heart disease diagnostics

You'll be the one developing the test plans, writing SOPs, leading cross-functional commissioning efforts, and making sure every nuclear system is ready to go live

This role is all about ownership, leadership, and making a direct impact from day one.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • First-of-its-kind nuclear medical facility focused on clean energy and diagnostics
  • Competitive salary based on your experience, open to negotiation for the right person
  • Hybrid work option available during the planning phase then should be fully onsite
  • Local candidates preferred, but relocation not required to start, just need to be onsite in 6–12 months
  • Tight-knit, mission-driven team that values flexibility and collaboration

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the entire commissioning process from documentation to system startup
  • Develop test protocols, SOPs, and validation documents
  • Coordinate across engineering, construction, operations, and quality
  • Work with select vendors on site acceptance testing
  • Lead without a dedicated team, instead, you'll guide internal staff and make it happen

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of commissioning or startup in nuclear, DOE, radiopharma, or highly regulated environments
  • Strong background in controls, utilities, and hazardous equipment
  • Hands-on leader who can both write the plans and oversee the execution
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator with a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset

If you want to leave your mark on a project that truly matters, this is your chance
