An experienced Community Manager for a local HOA/ROA.
Covering a medical leave 3-6 Months+
Monday-Friday 9AM-4:30/5PM with weekend flexibility
$40.86-48.00/HR- DOE
The Community Manager provides leadership and oversight of day-to-day operations, supervising the Office Admin and Compliance Officer, managing vendor relationships, overseeing compliance programs, coordinating events, and serving as liaison to the Board, committees, residents, and external agencies. The Community Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to the community and compliance with all governing requirements.
This is a 1200 Unit property with parks and common areas and club house. Must be able to provide a portfolio of your work.
Duties:
- Lead and supervise Office Admin and Compliance Officer
- Oversee daily RRROA office operations
- Serve as primary liaison to Board of Directors, committees, and public agencies
- Oversee management of Community Center and common areas
- Manage resident communications (website, newsletter, email blasts)
- Monitor vendor performance and manage contracts
- Oversee compliance inspections and reporting
- Coordinate community events and manage sponsorships
- Oversee financial coordination with management company
- Ensure accurate records, filings, and Board reports
- Administer meeting notifications and prepare Board materials
- Implement and manage staff performance evaluation processes
- Foster a positive, professional community environment
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in community management, HOA management, or a related field
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams
- Extensive understanding of HOA operations, governance, and compliance
- Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and association accounting practices
- Strong understanding of vendor management, contract administration, and performance evaluation
- Excellent communication, public relations, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in a community management software platforms (Caliber, Frontsteps, or comparable systems)
- Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online collaboration tool
- CMCA or equivalent HOA management certification
- Experience in supervising teams and managing cross-functional programs
- Direct experience with both Caliber and Frontsteps platforms strongly preferred
