Construction Project Manager
Chicago, IL (60164 or 60447)
Pay Rate: $48 - $52/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Chicago. This role manages, develops, and implements construction projects of varying complexity and size. The Construction Project Manager will work in the field and partner with stakeholders to ensure projects are completed successfully, safely, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple construction projects from initiation through completion.
- Facilitate project planning sessions with stakeholders; establish project scope, objectives, and performance goals.
- Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones; track performance and progress.
- Identify, track, and resolve project issues; manage project risks with quality tools and proactive measures.
- Communicate project status to the project team, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
- Plan and monitor project budgets; conduct research and analysis related to project activities.
- Document project details, maintain databases, and share learnings across teams.
- Assign and guide project resources; support, coach, and provide feedback to team members.
- Excellent Communication – Confidently communicate at all levels and keep all stakeholders informed.
- Ability to Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment – Manage multiple priorities consistently and effectively.
- High Level of Organization – Keep projects on track and documentation up to date.
- 3-5 years of construction project management experience.
- Proven track record managing field construction projects.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient with project management tools and software.
