Credit/Collections Cash Analyst – Tampa, FL
Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Cash Application Analyst at one of our Global clients in Tampa, FL. This role is a full-time, fully benefited position.

Job Description: Primary daily responsibility of this role will be to access banking portals to download customer payment remittance details a very manual process Role may also be asked to assist in daily cash posting process, so having previous cash applications experience is still important Candidate must be located in Tampa and able to work from the Tampa office Night/weekend hours may be required during the month end closing process.
Responsibilities:
- Process Virtual Credit Card Payments
- Sort AR Mailbox Help complete document copy requests
- Apply cash to customer accounts per remittance instructions, as a back-up to Cash Application Analysts.
- Run weekly management reports and obtain management approvals.
- Manage electronic report filling for internal and external audits.
- Reconcile remittance detail to reflect customer disputes made via deduction.
- Manage updates to the JD Edwards Tables to improve the Cash Application process.
- Accurately identify and denote the reason for customer deductions.
- He/she also obtains and attaches documentation to customer disputes supporting the conclusion of the reason for the dispute.
- Partner with Customer Services and Accounts Receivable for the accurate and timely resolution of customer disputes.
- Support the transition of customers to more efficient payment methods.
- Identify/ execute opportunities for process improvements.
- Calculate and prepare reconciliations and financial entries for accounts receivable and/or related accounts.
- Maintain Cash Application Metrics
- Items of note: JD Edwards cash applications experience is required Looking to fill role immediately
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years JD Edwards Cash Applications experience is required.
- Experience accounts receivables within the medical device industry.
- Ability to make outbound calls to collect on items.
- Strong analytical skills as employee will need to reconcile accounts and analyze large amounts of accounting detail.
- Strong attention to details and excellent communication skills required.
- A minimum of a Bachelor s Degree is required, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Accounting, or related industry experience is required
- Cash Application and G/L management experience required.
- Microsoft Office Intermediate skill level is required. For example, candidate must have proficiency to utilize Excel charts, pivot tables, v-lookup features without coaching/guidance .
- Strong collaboration and relationship building skills, negotiation skills, customer service skills, attention to detail, process orientation, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to present financial data in a meaningful way cross functionally and to different levels of leadership, problem solving skills, sense of urgency.
- Process Excellence knowledge or certification is preferred.
