Description

Kelly Services is hiring a Customer Service Representative to work with the State of Arizona at Phoenix, AZ 85007. This is a temporary contract role offering hands-on office experience in a professional government setting.

Pay: $17/hour
Schedule: Full-time, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 40 hrs/week
Contract Duration:  (~5 months)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer main phone lines, screen calls, and greet visitors; route inquiries accurately.

  • Register hearing participants with names, contact information, and scheduled times.

  • Escalate complex case inquiries to paralegals, supervisors, or Administrative Law Judges.

  • Communicate case/hearing status internally and externally.

  • Perform research in multiple databases to provide case information.

  • Update case management system with notes and documentation from calls and interactions.

  • Perform general office tasks such as processing mail, faxes, word processing decisions, and copying electronic records or recordings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 2+ years of customer service experience.

  • Accurate typing and proficiency with computers.

  • Customer service experience in office, legal, or phone/in-person environments preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

  • Knowledge of professional conduct, ethics, and confidentiality practices.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to operate office equipment (PC, scanner, fax, etc.).

  • Ability to perform repetitive, detailed work with high accuracy.

  • Ability to handle diverse or upset customers with tact and diplomacy.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and manage multiple programs simultaneously.

  • Ability to research case data using tracking systems.
