Customer Service Representative– Marine Products
Location: Waterford, CT 
Pay: $19–$22/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Position is Fully On-Site
 

Do you love boats, the water, and helping people find exactly what they need for their next adventure? We're looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and proactive Customer Service Representative to join our team and help boaters make the most of their time on the water.

Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It):

  • Navigate customer inquiries like a pro via phone, email, and online chat.

  • Guide boaters through our extensive product catalog and help them pick the perfect gear.

  • Process orders quickly and accurately, including shipping quotes for freight and international delivery.

  • Follow up to ensure customers are happy and fully equipped for their next voyage.

  • Provide expert advice on special orders, custom products, and marine essentials.

  • Help boost sales through friendly upselling and recommendations.

  • Continuously sharpen your boating knowledge and share it with customers.

  • Support team initiatives, cross-training, and special projects to keep the ship running smoothly.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • High school diploma or higher

  • Previous call center or customer service experience

  • Boating or marine industry knowledge a big plus

  • Positive, “can-do” attitude with excellent communication skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and keep calm in a fast-paced environment

  • Love for helping customers and being part of a team

Your Work Deck:

  • Fast-paced office/call center environment

  • Lots of phone and computer use

  • Occasional visits to retail or warehouse areas (standing and walking required)

  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a love of learning

Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
