Job Description: The Messenger Clerk will be responsible for providing courier and messenger services within the designated area. This role involves delivering packages, documents, and other materials to specified locations in a timely and efficient manner. The Messenger Clerk will ensure the safe handling and transportation of items, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver packages, documents, and other materials to designated locations.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with clients and recipients.
• Ensure the safe handling and transportation of items, taking necessary precautions to prevent damage or loss.
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of items.
• Obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required, maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
• Assist with sorting, organizing, and preparing items for delivery as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Communicate any issues or delays to the supervisor or appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any delivery-related concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a courier or messenger role is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of local routes and areas.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and carry packages of various sizes and weights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems is a plus.
