Pay rate and Shift
l Job Duration: 4+ Month
l Shift:  Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm
l Pay Rate: $17.30/hrs. On W2.
Job Summary:
l The DC Associate has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within warehouse. An integral part of the team, the DC Associate verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance, maintains complete and accurate paperwork, and operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
Key Responsible:
l Marks pallets with identifying store information
l Uses lift equipment (manual pallet jack for Worldpac or Forklift (Advance Auto will certify)) as needed once training and certification are completed
l Pick and stage parts for store replenishment
l Uses a hand-held radio frequency device (RF Scanner)
l Having prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required
l Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
l Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using
l whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Shift Requirements:
l Candidates must make a commitment to work their full scheduled shift. The client is asking for flexibility to help on other shifts as a nice-to-have!
Dress Code:
l Clean attire, including well fit waist high jeans (not baggy around the hips), clean shirt/sweatshirt with no logos or vulgar writing/images.

l Is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and hear,
l Is frequently required to stop, kneel and crouch or stoop,
l Is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, and
l Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50. Items heavier than 50lbs will be moved with assistance of Pallet Jack (WP) or Forklift (AAP)
l Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Work environment:
l The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the team member:
l Bending/Stooping and reaching into stationary totes to retrieve product
l Standing/walking for extended periods of time
l May be exposed to moving mechanical parts while operating manual pallet jacks or forklift trucks
l The noise level in the work environment may be high at times
l Many contractors convert to full time employees. 
The following are the eligibility requirements to convert:
l Being at least 18 years of age
l Having a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency
l Being eligible to work in the United States
