Direct Hire Brake Press Operator
Location: Fairfield, OH
Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday
Hourly Pay: $22 - $28 per hour

Kelly has partnered with a premiere client in Cincinnati, OH and looking for a Brake Press Operator to join their team!
The Press Brake Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of press brake machines, ensuring that parts meet blueprint specifications and quality standards. This role includes the setup, operation, and inspection of parts throughout the production run.
Key Accountabilities:
- Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by following safety protocols to protect yourself and coworkers.
- Setup Operation: Optimize the setup and sequence to meet production time standards and quality specifications.
- Accuracy: Consistently produce parts that meet blueprint specifications.
- Inspection: Continuously monitor parts during production to ensure accuracy and compliance with blueprints.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Blueprint Reading: Accurately interpret technical drawings to select appropriate tools, machines, and materials for fabrication.
- Press Brake Setup & Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate CNC hydraulic press brakes, ensuring precise alignment of tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces.
- Part Formation: Form parts according to specifications outlined in the blueprints.
- Production Standards: Meet established production and run-time standards for each job.
- Measuring Devices: Use and recommend the proper measuring tools for all tasks.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any fabrication issues that arise during the process.
- Consistency: Ensure that each part produced meets quality and accuracy standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC hydraulic brake presses.
- Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in using fractions, percentages, ratios, and basic trigonometry in the production process.
- Language Skills: Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and work instructions, and prepare reports in prescribed formats.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
