Production Scheduler & Planner 
Location: Dayton, OH 45417 (Onsite)
Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (Based on Experience)
 

Kelly is hiring a Production Scheduler/Planner to support our dynamic customer located in Dayton, OH! The facility—home to a diverse range of aerospace and non-aerospace products. In this role, you'll play a critical part in managing procurement, scheduling, and inventory strategies to ensure operational success and on-time delivery.

You'll report to the Materials Manager and collaborate across departments to align production with sourcing, planning, and inventory targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage inventory strategies for purchased and in-house items.

  • Purchase raw materials, MRO supplies, and components.

  • Run capacity planning models and support S&OP planning.

  • Coordinate with suppliers on lead times, order status, and delivery.

  • Maintain SAP purchase records and resolve invoice discrepancies.

  • Release production orders and manage shop floor scheduling.

  • Support cross-functional alignment between planning, purchasing, and manufacturing.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering (or Associate's with >4 years' experience).

  • 4+ years in production planning, scheduling, or procurement in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred).

  • Demonstrated success improving supply chain performance and on-time delivery.

  • CPIM or related certification preferred.
