Responsibilities:
Supervise 3 team leaders and 150 full and part-time associates for
10am-6:30pm Shift 

At the beginning and end of each workday the following tasks should be completed:
  • Identify operational issues, and review all communications
  • Review current staffing status to identify current/potential issues and determine priorities/action plans to resolve these issues.
  • Use above information to determine priority changes and develop action plans as required to meet daily production requirements.
  • Resolve daily staffing issues.
  • Develop contingency plan for coverage as required
  • Ensure that all required production boards are current.
  • Communication Board – communicates all meeting schedules, including customer and Kelly OCG employee meetings as well as other necessary communication information. 
  • Drive Safety Process to lower number of incidents and lost time cases.
  • Participate in Client's safety program.
  • Overall responsibility to ensure that all Quality standards are achieved or exceeded.
  • Work with staff to resolve all personnel issues.
  • Manage GDP (Growth & Development Program)
  • Enforcement of workplace safety and 5S policies and procedures.
  • Assignment of priorities to team leaders.
  • Updating Communication and Production Boards.
  • Meet or exceed KPI goals
  • Participate in meetings as required.
  • Creation of Continuous Improvement Process to achieve both quality and production standards
  • Document improvements using the appropriate quality forms and present these improvements to the customer.
  • Ensure customer's Process Improvement savings goals are achieved
  • Obtain all required certifications from Kelly Learning Center and Customer Compliance Wire
  • Follow site escalation procedures to ensure timely communication to upper management and customer.
  • Maintain the following site documents:
    • Organization Structure
    • Manage Meeting Matrix
    • Manage cross training matrix
    • Escalation Plan
    • OSHA requirements
    • Employees Schedule
  • Scheduled work hours are based on coinciding with coverage of all scheduled shifts.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Secondary Logistics education required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Analytical and detail oriented
  • 2-3 years logistics experience
  • Intermediate in Excel and comfortable with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to provide reporting in Excel (pivot tables [grouping, slicers, calculations], pivot reporting, dashboards).
  • Ability to quickly learn custom reporting systems (i.e. SAP Global Business Analytics) and warehouse management systems (i.e. DCS) to create and execute custom queries.
  • 40 - 50 correspondences per day (email, phone, communicator, voicemail)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, Excel Expert (all Data Manipulation and complex formulas) 
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding logistical solutions in an operational environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
Environmental and Physical Demands:
  • Duties are performed in a temperature-controlled environment.
  • Duties require walking, standing, reaching forward, reaching above shoulders, pushing, pulling, twisting at the waist, grabbing, finger manipulation, and sitting.
  • Light physical demand level: Exerting up to twenty (20) lbs of force occasionally, up to ten (10) lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects weighing less than twenty-three (23) lbs.
  • Overtime is required
