Immediately Hiring for a Document Control Specialist / Records Clerk!

Pay: $19-$21/hr
Hours: 8am-5pm, M-F
Location: 4220 Mark Dabling Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80907
Duration: 4-6 weeks

Job Overview: We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to assist with document control and office admin tasks. This is a 3-4 week contractor role with the potential for an extension. The ideal candidate will have general office skills, be comfortable with basic computer tasks, and able to perform physical duties like lifting and carrying banker boxes of documents. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a short-term, entry-level position in an office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort, scan, and file production documents from several "banker boxes" into digital format (PDF).
  • Review and sort documents by product type, dates created, and other relevant information.
  • Use basic scanning software and PDF tools to process documents.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for both digital and physical records.
  • Label and relabel boxes of documents with appropriate date ranges and types.
  • Regularly walk to and from the office warehouse area to obtain document boxes.
  • Assist with general office duties as needed, such as filing or administrative support, when project tasks are completed.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, starting at 8:00 AM.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific instructions for sorting, scanning, and filing documents.
  • Comfortable using basic computer systems, including Windows and PDF scanning software.
  • Capable of handling physical tasks, such as lifting and carrying boxes (approximately 25-50lbs).
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
