Electrical Engineer | Atlanta, Georgia (Alpharetta)
Direct hire | Full-time

Kelly Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our client's team, which is a leader in delivering complex mission-critical integrated HVAC and Power Solutions.

Targeted compensation range: $150,000 - $200,000

What You'll Do:

  • Review plans and specifications for bid projects, ensuring the best product fit for each opportunity.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to select equipment and package options tailored to project needs.
  • Prepare comprehensive bid responses and follow up post-bid to secure wins.
  • Provide technical support throughout project execution, ensuring seamless implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Leverage your understanding of electrical systems in data centers, including UPS and power distribution systems, to deliver optimal solutions.

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of electrical engineering experience at an engineering firm (construction industry), electrical equipment manufacturer, or similar
  • Deep knowledge of electrical systems
  • Strong product and application knowledge of UPS and power distribution systems.
  • Experience with bid management and project follow-through.
  • Excellent organizational skills; detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team mindset.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Familiarity with data center standards and certifications.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale electrical projects within the data center industry.

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to project sites.
