Looking for your next hands-on role? We're hiring an Assembly Technician to assemble and wire electrical control panels for data center cooling equipment. If you're experienced with control panels, schematics, and hand and power tools, we'd love to hear from you!

Pay: $25.00-$30.00hr. (Based on Experience) 
Location: Barberton

Job Responsibilities

  • Layout and install electrical components in panel enclosures per prints
  • Drill and tap electrical subpanels according to panel layouts
  • Measure, cut, terminate, label, and install wiring to print
  • Install VFDs and various electrical components within manufactured units
  • Follow electrical schematics, drawings, and written instructions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • 2+ years of assembly experience (required)
  • 2+ years of mechanical knowledge (required)
  • 2+ years of electrical wiring experience (required)
Knowledge of:
  • 3-phase electrical systems up to 600 VAC
  • 110 VAC and 24 VDC control wiring
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools used in panel building
  • UL 508A panel-building knowledge or willingness to be trained
Physical Requirements
  • Stand up to 10 hours per day
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed
  • Lift 50+ lbs
  • Use ladders (up to 8 ft; mostly step stools; fall protection provided)
  • Overtime required; 10-hour workday schedule
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Electrical Trade Education Program (preferred)
