Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Boston / Braintree, MA
Duration: 9 months +          


Responsibilities

  • Maintain, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems and equipment in accordance with local code
  • Perform service, preventative maintenance. Develop LOTO protocols for equipment
  • Troubleshooting and identity root cause problem solving.
  • Learn and use BMS / WO for site operation and CMMS for asset management
  • Ensure a safe working environment, follow HSE use of PPE and cleanroom gowning
  • Read and interpret blueprint, schematics, and technical drawing.
  • Collaborate with other internal customers and external venders to ensure proper installation and integration of HVAC systems
  • Test systems and devices with specialized tools to ensure proper function and safe operation.
  • Provide support for all general facilities sitework.
  • Coordinate site work with stakeholders to meet the requirements of the site Manufacturing operation.
  • Develop / Follow equipment SOPs, related GMP training and policies
  • Work will support the site 24-hour manufacturing operations

Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Refrigeration apprenticeship program or relevant work experience
  • Valid Refrigeration license or certification as required by the state regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawing.
  • Experience working with power tools and electrical testing equipment.
  • Experience clean room operations, gowning, GMP and SOP documentation,
  • License or knowledge of industrial wastewater operations – Grade 2 Operator.
  • Haz waste material handling, RCRA certification. (If not certified, company will get you certified)
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Onsite at Boston / Braintree facility
  • Monday – Friday
