Direct Hire HVAC & Facilities Technician  Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with possible overtime as needed 
Location: Norwood, MA 
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually

Kelly has partnered with a leading fine wine and spirits distributor based in Norwood, MA, is looking for an experienced HVAC & Facilities Technician to join our growing Facilities and Maintenance team. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain HVAC Systems: Troubleshoot, maintain, and operate HVAC and facility support systems, including RTUs, MAUs, ERUs, cooling towers, heat exchangers, VAVs, water heaters, boilers, and building management systems (BMS).
  • Equipment Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair controls, VFDs, actuators, and other critical HVAC and facility components.
  • Preventative Maintenance (PM): Perform scheduled PMs and filter changes on HVAC and facility equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Industrial Automation Support: Repair industrial automation equipment, such as machinery, conveyors, and other manufacturing tools as needed.
  • Facility Upgrades & Repairs: Construct and install facility additions (e.g., cabinets, office furniture), and perform light facility repairs such as painting and drywall work.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow SOPs, equipment troubleshooting guides, GMPs, and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.
  • BMS Management: Utilize Navitas and Johnson Controls BMS systems to monitor and manage facility operations.
  • Work Order Management: Use maintenance management software to track, manage, and close out work orders and PMs.
  • On-Call Duties: Participate in on-call rotations, rotating shifts, weekend work, or overtime as required to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Requirements:
  • License: Must hold a MA Refrigeration Technician License with the appropriate tonnage.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial HVAC and facility support systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in HVAC, BMS systems, and facility support systems; skilled in advanced troubleshooting and mechanical repairs.
  • Software Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft applications and maintenance management software.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various environments (inside/outside, hot/cold), climb stairs, work at heights (platforms, rooftops), and lift up to 50lbs. Must also be able to work for extended periods.
  • Driver's License: Valid MA Driver's License and ability to travel to multiple locations 
  • Forklift Certification: Ability to become forklift certified as required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Proactive in learning new systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Physical Demands:
  • Frequent climbing of stairs and occasional work on platforms greater than 40 feet.
  • Ability to work on rooftops, catwalks, and in varying environmental conditions.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
  • Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions as necessary.
