Field Operations Manager

Location: Orange, TX (Home Office), with primary travel to job sites and warehouses Hours: Standard Business Hours (M-F, 8–5) with flexibility based on job demands Salary: $80,000, depending on experience Employment Status: Full-Time Reports to: CEO Role Purpose:

The Field Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing operations and ensuring safety across job sites for our client, with a primary focus on the petrochemical industry. This position requires a robust background in chemical circulation and operational processes within oil and gas refinery contexts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a crew, building a new team with local talent from the ground up.
  • Communicate consistently with managers, staff, and customers to uphold safety and operational standards.
  • Partner with other key divisions to ensure seamless and up-to-date operations while enhancing quality assurance protocols.
  • Travel to job sites for quality control (QC), safety inspections, and team coordination, resolving technical and mechanical issues as needed.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) consistency and manage equipment and uniform programs.
Team Management:
  • Lead and motivate a large team, ensuring team preparedness and operational excellence.
  • Oversee staffing, training, and material management with the ability to effectively resolve operational challenges.
  • Conduct regular job audits and performance reviews.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • MUST have significant experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Expertise in technical and mechanical issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and communication systems.
  • Previous experience in managing staff and technical projects.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to travel extensively, with travel accommodations including gas, hotels, and flights provided as needed.
  • Travel to client locations; moderate noise and physical demands.
  • Ability to travel for company meetings (15% of the time).
Additional Beneficial Skills:
  • Proactive with strong business acumen and customer service skills.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly desirable for this role.
