Position Description:
Provide on-site technical support for the end-user community. Support consists of software and hardware installs, hardware moves, add or changes of hardware/software and maintenance. PC refresh support consisting of imaging PCs, installing software and deploying to users. Support of mobile devices iPhones and iPads. Demonstrated customer service and technical knowledge gained from prior experience to resolve issues surrounding installation, usage, and training on software and/or hardware products. Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols.
Minimum Skills Requirement:
• Proficient with a variety of MS Operating Systems: Win11 and Win 10.
• Troubleshooting skills for applications running on MS Windows based platforms (Office M365, browsers, printers, etc.).
Work Experience Requirements:
• Basic understanding of networks Desktop/Laptop hardware repair Experience with Microsoft AD Knowledge in Asset Management
• Excellent customer service skills Excellent communication skills - both oral and written Ability to work well with others in a team environment. Adheres to standards as defined in Standard Operating Procedures.
Education:
• CompTIA A+ Certified
• 6+ Years experience with High School
• 3+ Years experience with AA
• 0+ Years experience with BS/Associate's degree preferred
Additional Information:
• Temp to perm role, please make sure candidates are aware of this. Work Environment Repetitive movement of hands and fingers (i.e.
• frequent computer use, typing and writing). Frequent sitting standing and walking. Indoor office and shipyard environment. Some lifting and carrying of typical computer components. Safety shoes and glasses are required for shipyard shop areas. Offsite office at San Diego Naval base will also be required.
