Location: Savannah, GA- 31408
Pay Rate: $25.66/hr.
Shifts Available: 1st shift (4:15am - 2:45pm)
Key Responsibilities:
- Aircraft Assembly & Installation: Assemble, install, rig, and adjust aircraft structural parts, systems, control surfaces, landing gear, engines, and associated hardware to meet precise installation and conformity requirements.
- System Repairs & Maintenance: Remove, replace, cut, and fit system lines, valves, ducts, panels, and components to perform basic repairs and ensure leak-free and defect-free systems.
- Tools, Documentation & Compliance: Use various specialized tools, update and sign logs and records, perform self-checks for quality, and follow safety, FOD, and 5S standards.
- Continuous Improvement & Support Functions: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, support aircraft certification activities including possible flight tests, and perform other assigned duties as needed.
Must-Haves:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience such as auto mechanics, heavy equipment, etc.
- A&P license may offset the one year of experience required.
- Solumina and Smarteam experience preferred.
- Requires ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams and use all tools required to do the job.
- Ability to perform work such as basic drilling, reaming, ship fitting parts, etc.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small-space restricted areas and lift up to 50 lbs.
