Job Details:
  • Location: Savannah, GA 31408

  • Shift: 1st Shift

  • Employment Type: 48-month contract (possible absorption based on performance, attendance, and business needs)

What's a typical day as a Final Line Mech II? You'll be:
  • Assembling, installing, and adjusting aircraft structural parts and system components

  • Rigging control cables, linkages, landing gear, engines, doors, and associated hardware

  • Removing, replacing, cutting, and fitting system lines and structural components

  • Installing valves, ducts, and system lines to ensure leak-free performance

  • Performing rework as needed to ensure conformity and quality standards

  • Using specialized tools such as permaswage pumps, dies, line cutting tools, and precision gauges

  • Updating and signing required logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, PCOs, etc.)

  • Inspecting your own work to ensure defect-free installation prior to final inspection

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area while supporting FOD and 5S programs

  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

  • Assisting with aircraft certification and final phase testing, including possible flight test support

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have experience in aircraft assembly, structural installation, or aerospace manufacturing

  • Are skilled in reading technical documents and following installation specifications

  • Have hands-on experience with precision tools and mechanical systems

  • Understand quality standards and compliance in regulated manufacturing environments

  • Are committed to safety, accuracy, and teamwork

  • Can maintain detailed documentation and production records
