Work Setup: Onsite

Assemble, install, rig, and adjust aircraft structural components and mechanical systems in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and operational requirements.

Remove, replace, cut, and fit system lines, valves, ducts, and associated hardware to support repairs and ensure leak-free, conforming installations.

Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform basic mechanical and structural repairs while ensuring all work meets quality standards prior to final inspection.

Utilize specialized tools and equipment (e.g., hydraulic mule pumps, perm swage tools, precision drilling and reaming equipment) to complete close-tolerance installations.

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation, support FOD and 5S initiatives, and assist in mentoring junior mechanics as needed.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum 3 years of aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience (e.g., automotive, heavy equipment, or related field).

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic diagrams, and technical specifications.

Proficiency in close-tolerance work including drilling, reaming, and precision fitting of structural and system components.

Experience using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and specialized installation equipment.

Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
