FORKLIFT DRIVER
Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Driver and play a crucial role in our distribution operations. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility, including crucial recycling tasks. You will primarily operate a sit-down forklift, ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly and products reach our customers on time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Operate forklifts, focusing primarily on sit-down models, to move materials and products to designated areas.
• Load and unload goods from trucks and ensure proper storage in the warehouse.
• Manage recycling duties such as dumping cardboard gaylords, handling plastics, trash bags, and loading pallet trailers.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift equipment.
• Ensure accurate inventory management by updating logs and records.
• Communicate effectively with the team and management about any operational challenges.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
• Monitor equipment for malfunctions and report any repair needs promptly.
• Support in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse setting.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Reliable transportation.
• Previous forklift experience required, particularly with sit-down forklifts.
• Ability to operate forklift equipment efficiently and safely.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle various materials.
• Experience in recycling tasks within a facility setting.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying noise levels.
• Commitment to adhere to safety protocols and contribute positively to the team environment.
