What's a typical day as Fork Lift Operator? You'll be:
  • Transporting materials, supplies, and finished products using Powered Industrial Trucks.
  • Receiving, distributing, and storing products in secure locations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of materials received and shipped, including transaction dates and locations.
  • Reviewing shipments for quality and accuracy, confirming shipping details, and expediting shipments as needed.
  • Loading and unloading materials manually or with hand trucks/skids.
  • Resolving issues with contractors or vendors and forwarding invoices to accounting.
  • Collecting and disposing of scrap materials, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhering to company safety and hygiene regulations, and following 7S Program guidelines.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have at least two years of experience operating powered industrial trucks (forklifts).
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Are comfortable with heights (order picker can go up to 30 feet).
  • Can lift, push, or pull up to 55 pounds.
  • Have proficient math skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or formal training in a related field preferred.
  • Can thrive in a manufacturing/warehouse dock environment with moderate to loud noise and occasional exposure to weather.
  • Are committed to maintaining security, confidentiality, and ethical conduct in all aspects of your work.
