Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating material handling equipment to move, store, relocate, and count merchandise. This role requires safe and efficient forklift operation, along with general warehouse duties such as order picking, shipping, and inventory management.
Schedule and Pay
- 2nd shift: Monday – Thursday 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM, $22.50 per hour
- Weekend shift: Friday - Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm, $23.00 per hour
- All Training: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and/or clamp forklifts to move and store materials.
- Safely unload inbound shipments and transport products to storage locations.
- Pick and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy.
- Verify and maintain inventory records through cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Utilize RF scanning equipment to track inventory movements.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any safety concerns.
- Work collaboratively to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 months of forklift and/or warehouse equipment experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions (temperature, noise, lighting).
- Availability for irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to obtain forklift certification.
