Forklift Operator (Sit-Down) – Manufacturing/Warehouse
$19–$20/hr | Harvey, IL
Job Type: Contract-to-hire (Start as a Kelly Services employee, with opportunity to convert based on performance and business needs)
Schedule: 10-hour days, up to 6 days/week | Current opening: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Mon–Fri with Saturday overtime (may be mandatory as needed)

This is a high-activity operation that values safety, accuracy, and organization. If you're a dependable sit-down forklift operator who can handle container work, labeling, and inventory discipline—and you don't need to be chased to do housekeeping—apply.


Job Details
Pay: $19–$20/hour
Location: Harvey, IL
Hours: 10-hour days; overtime as business requires (including Saturdays as needed)
Equipment: Sit-down forklift
PPE: Steel-toe shoes required

What You'll Do
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move, stage, load/unload product safely
• Support container filling (totes, drums, pails, etc.) and ensure containers are handled properly
• Complete container labeling accurately and consistently
• Support 6S/organization standards and daily housekeeping expectations
• Participate in cycle counts and inventory accuracy processes
• Follow all site safety policies and complete required documentation as needed


What I'm Looking For (Apply only if you meet these)
• Recent sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Comfortable working with industrial containers (totes/drums/pails) and following label/handling standards
• Strong attention to detail for labeling, counts, and organization
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime (including Saturdays as needed)

Preferred
• RF scanning/WMS experience
• Cycle count experience


Pre-Employment Screenings (Required)

Offer is contingent upon completion of all screenings, including:
County criminal background check
NCRL (National Criminal Record Locator)
Urine drug screen (THC included)
Breathalyzer

Timing: Screenings typically take 3–7 business days to complete.
