Forklift/ Warehouse Operator-Temp to Hire- Staten Island, NY

 

Our valued client located in Staten Island, NY is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate/FL Operator to join their growing team for a Temp to Hire position.

Pay Rate/Hours: $20/hr, with a schedule of M-F; 8am – 500pm

*Overtime is mandatory and will extend the shift- additional overtime may be requested on weekends and/or holidays

Location: Staten Island NY 10303

Forklift license is a must have*
 

Key responsibilities include receiving, stocking, and repackaging products, loading and securing items for transport, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized space.

What You'll Do:

• Receive, stock, and repackage products for distribution
• Prepare orders, load/unload delivery trucks, and secure loads based on manifests
• Operate forklifts and other equipment for warehouse needs
• Perform tank readings, customer pick-ups, LTL shipments.
• Restock warehouse/driver supplies.
• Loads, fills and labels drums, kegs, pails and other containers from bulk according to assignment in an efficient and accurate manner.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic math skills and a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
• CDL license is a plus!
