Front Desk Assistant

Location: Vidor TX
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9am–5pm; Friday, 9am–4pm
Compensation: Based on experience, with opportunities for growth
Temp - Hire (based on performance)

They are seeking a motivated and personable Front Desk Assistant to join their team! This role is perfect for applicants looking to build a career in the insurance industry, including those returning to the workforce. Training and advancement into licensing roles are available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally; direct inquiries to team members
  • Provide accurate insurance quotes over the phone using provided guidelines and tools
  • Support daily office operations, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
  • Assist with policy documentation, ensuring records are up-to-date
  • Collaborate with agents and team members to deliver outstanding service
  • Handle client inquiries with empathy, efficiency, and confidentiality
Qualifications
  • Experience in an administrative or customer service role preferred (not required)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization
  • Friendly, professional demeanor and outstanding customer service skills
  • Basic understanding of property/casualty insurance products or a willingness to learn
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general office technology
  • Ability to operate email systems

Additional Information

  • Office casual dress code (nice blouses, jeans permitted, no t-shirts or flip flops)
  • Office closed for lunch from 11:30am–12:30pm
