Job Title: Front Desk Paralegal Assistant
Location: North Dallas, TX
Compensation: Starting at $20 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with 5-7 years of relevant experience to join our team. This position will be responsible for supporting two lawyers and interacting with our General Counsel while managing front desk operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and possess strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Operations: Manage front desk activities, including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Legal Support: Provide administrative and legal support to two attorneys, including drafting, editing, and formatting legal documents.
- Board of Trustees Meetings: Edit documents and prepare materials for Board of Trustees meetings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established guidelines.
- Correspondence Management: Compose and send correspondence on behalf of the legal team, maintaining professionalism and clarity in communication.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized records and files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible for legal review.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize Microsoft Office products to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Familiarity with NetDocs is a significant plus, as is experience with TimeMatters for case and time management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a legal or corporate environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of NetDocs and TimeMatters is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with various stakeholders.
