- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Employment Type: 5-6 months contract
What's a typical day as a Grant Specialist? You will:
- Coordinate and foster collaboration between literacy grant projects, the agency, and community partners.
- Manage and track multiple grant activities, including budgets, compliance, and reporting.
- Use data-driven approaches to assess and inform literacy programs for birth through grade 12.
- Develop and disseminate resources and technical assistance (reports, webinars, site visits, conference presentations) in line with U.S. Department of Education guidelines.
- Provide support services and tools to schools, Local Education Agencies (LEAs), and early childhood programs participating in the Arizona CLSD grant.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with Arizona CLSD grantees and stakeholders.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
- Bachelor's degree (required)
- Experience managing federal or state grants and budgets
- Strong knowledge of reading science, adult learning principles, and literacy initiatives
- Proven skills in project management, communication, and cross-team collaboration
- Ability and willingness to work in-office up to five days a week
- Are local to Phoenix, AZ and able to attend in-person interviews and meetings as required
- Experience working with education agencies, grant compliance, and reporting preferred
