Description

Kelly Services is seeking an experienced HR Staffing/Personnel Specialist for a boat company located in Jacksonville, FL 32226. This role is responsible for onboarding new hires, managing employee relations, overseeing training and screening, and ensuring compliance with all employment regulations.

Job Title: Staffing/Personnel Specialist
Schedule- Mon- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm (30 min lunch)
Pay- $20-$24/hour

Currently reviewing resumes with the following experience: Staffing, HR Management/Generalist and Talent acquisition. Must meet the requirements below. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure staff for all positions as required, including handling new hire screening, testing, and onboarding processes.
  • Manage the employee training program, ensuring all required certifications and trainings are tracked and completed.
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues through investigations, conflict resolution, and ongoing support.
  • Implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals and management requests.
  • Oversee and assist with benefits administration, ensuring staff receive accurate and timely support regarding health insurance and leave policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update accurate employment records for all personnel.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in human resources management or a related field required.
  • Prior experience in staffing for the maritime industry or shipyard highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with benefits administration, including health insurance and leave policies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of employment and labor laws is a must.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required.
