We're seeking an HVAC Chiller Technician to work at a growing commercial HVAC contractor company in Green Brook, NJ. Sound good? Take a closer look below. **MUST have a clean driving record because you will be issued a company vehicle and traveling to job sites. MUST have commercial chiller experience. Current Union candidate preferred**
Pay rate: around $40/HR - THIS IS A UNION POSITION so pay is set when you are offered a position
Schedule: Start time is around 7AM-4PM Mon-Fri with OT on the weekends (double pay for OT - anything over 40 hours weekly)
Duration: Permanent position with benefits
Location: Green Brook, NJ is the main location, but you will be picking up your truck and servicing clients up to 60 miles away

What's a typical day as an HVAC Chiller Technician? You'll be:
• Performing chiller preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and replacement of associated HVAC mechanical equipment and chiller equipment control systems.
• Providing the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
• Ensuring work is being performed in compliance with legal requirements and operating with the highest ethics.
• Completing all required project and service documentation.
• Adhering to customer and company safety standards.
• Using best judgment on escalation for critical issues.
• Assisting in developing quotes and estimates.
• Assisting with the identification of material needs required for service delivery.
• Communicating with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by providing a world-class experience.
• Keeping customers informed on the nature of service provided, outstanding issues, and recommending system enhancements, upgrades, and repairs as applicable.
• Conducting self-study to improve and maintain technical proficiency.
• Completing all training and certifications as required.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Are a Union Card Holder - Plumber and Pipefitter Local.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Have 5+ years of experience in general HVAC maintenance.
• Have 3+ years of experience in general chiller installation/maintenance/service.
• Have experience with air cooled/water cooled systems and various compressors.
• Have high tonnage and absorber experience (a plus).
• Have a clear Motor Vehicle Report.
