Hydraulic Assembler

Kelly Services is currently seeking a skilled Hydraulic Assembler for a premier manufacturing client in North Houston. This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity designed for individuals who enjoy hands-on mechanical work and want to build a long-term career with a global industry leader.

Job Details
  • Must have Hydraulic experience
    Pay Rate:
    $25.00 per hour

  • Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Location: Houston, TX 77073 (North Houston/Bush Airport area)

  • Employment Type: Temporary-to-Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • System Assembly: Assemble complex hydraulic components and systems, including pump-motor units, valve manifolds, and filters.

  • Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials to ensure precise assembly.

  • Quality Testing: Perform pressure testing and quality inspections on completed units to ensure they meet design specifications and safety standards.

  • Tool Operation: Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and accurate measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers) for assembly tasks.

  • Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S and Lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in hydraulic or mechanical assembly.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, hoses, and fittings.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions while standing for long periods.

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with limited supervision.
