Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19.64 per hour
Hours of Operation: 7:00 am- 3:00 pm

What's a typical day as a Facility Technician? You'll be:

• Performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems.
• Conducting general building repairs, including painting, patching, carpentry, and minor drywall work.
• Responding to maintenance service requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, supplies, and equipment.
• Assembling, moving, and repairing facility furniture and equipment as needed.
• Assisting with setup and teardown for events, meetings, or facility moves.
• Completing exterior maintenance tasks, such as snow removal, landscaping, and parking lot upkeep.
• Following safety procedures and guidelines in all work.
• Collaborating with outside contractors and maintaining records of maintenance tasks.
• Supporting emergency facility needs, including after-hours issues or inclement weather responses.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school preferred).
• Have 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
• Possess basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Are proficient with both hand and power tools and understand workplace safety.
• Can lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Are reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or on a team.
• Are flexible to work evenings, weekends, or on-call hours, and can adapt to changing priorities.
